THE Wanderers Snooker Club, in Barnard Castle, held a high score tournament last weekend.

Ten competitors took part, playing in two groups of five with cumulative scores from each match rather than frames won determining the winners.

First prize with 231 points went to Colling Morris, with Lawrence Wood in second after compiling 218.

Colling also won the highest break prize with a break of 33 and Jonathan Staley was the highest scoring junior player with 182 points.

This event was once again sponsored by Ken Coates and the Friends of the Teesdale Wanderers.

The Wanderers competitions are designed for players of all abilities.
