A PLANNED closure of the A66 for roadworks this weekend has been cancelled.
The A66 was due to be closed between Rokeby and Scotch Corner but Highways England officers said expected weather conditions would make it unsafe for workers.
A Highways England spokesperson said: “Next weekend’s closure, February 14 – 17, will go ahead as planned weather permitting and we are currently looking at when we will be able to schedule the remaining work.”
