LIVE AGAIN: Hot Gard du Nord returns to Scarth Hall, in Staindrop

THE first post-lockdown live music performance at Scarth Hall, in Staindrop, will see the return of a popular four-piece band next month.
Hot Club du Nord – made up of Emma Fisk on violin, James Birkett and David Harris on guitar and double bass player Bruce Rollo – have played at the venue on several occasions before the pandemic.
Their repertoire of instrumental versions of contemporary songs brings a fresh and inspired approach and the group have proved popular with audiences, getting them “swinging” along.
Hot Club du Nord bring life to the classic 1930s and 1940s repertoire of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s Hot Club de France.
Their sparkling performances have made them a popular choice across many venues including the Sage at Gateshead.
Tickets to see Hot Club du Nord on Friday, August 27, cost £12. They are available from ticketsource.co.uk or by ringing 07881 248478.
