Get ready to mark your calendars and clear your schedules because on May 4, the stage is set for a day-long extravaganza of music, camaraderie, and giving back.
Welcome to George’s Friend-Fest – an event like no other, dedicated to supporting young mental health and preventing suicide through the transformative power of music.
From noon until midnight, the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle will come alive with the vibrant energy of George’s-Fest.
With food and refreshments aplenty, attendees will have the chance to refuel and recharge between the top-notch performances.
With a mix of rock, folk, indie, and dance music, there's something for everyone at George’s Friend-Fest, ensuring a truly inclusive and unforgettable experience for all.
Opening host, the charismatic North-East comedian Steffen Peddie, will kick things off with his signature blend of humour and heart.
The soul of George’s Friend-Fest lies in its lineup of more than 18 performers across two stages. Headliners are all rising stars: Eve Conway will be following up her performance on BBC Radio 1; Analogue Blood and Ceiling Demons are appearing fresh from renewed record deals.
Top regional performers Jeshika Jaynes, Zararuth and Craig Riley will be there too.
As the sun sets and the stars emerge, DJ Mr Watson will take to the stage, keeping the party going with an electrifying set guaranteed to keep you dancing into the night.
As you soak in the music and enjoy the festivities, remember that George-Fest is about more than just entertainment – it's about coming together to support a cause that affects us all.
