A FAVOURITE with Barnard Castle comedy fans is to bring his latest show to the town next year.
Tickets went on sale last week for Steve Bujega’s Tried to Start His Own Nickname show at The Witham on June 18.
His appearance is part of Funny Way To Be comedy's summer programme.
Promoter Peter Dixon said: “Steve has made numerous appearances on TV shows.
“A prolific writer, he was a key member of the writing team for The Russell Howard Hour.
“He also recently co-wrote and starred in the much acclaimed sitcom Buffering, on ITV2.”
And the laughter keeps coming with veteran comedy legend Billy Pearce confirmed for a show at The Witham on September 2 next year.
Mr Dixon added: “Without doubt one of Britain’s most talented and best loved comedians, Billy Pearce has won just about every comedy award and there are few stages upon which he has not appeared.”
Now 70, he was a regular on TV screens throughout the 1980s and 90s.
