ON his first fishing trip, little Rory Lincoln



of Dale View, Marwood, pulled out a trout nearly as big as him!

Rory, 6, a pupil at Green Lane School, in Barnard Castle, pulled out this handsome six and a quarter pound 24 inch trout on his first fishing trip, with his dad, Ian, to Grassholme reservoir.

Rory nearly got pulled in the water when the trout bit, but his dad helped him land it. They caught plenty of other fish that day, but dad still hasn’t got over his envy of Rory’s catch!
