Last chance to vote for spicy Zak

Jul 8, 2010

BARNEY'S most eligible bachelor is appealing to his restaurant's regulars to get him into the finals of a national competition.
Zak Ahmed, who runs Spice Island in the town, has made it down to the final 50 in Asiana magazine's Bachelor 2010 competition and he needs a final voting boost to get him into the last ten.
The 26-year-old is a familiar face in the town and he hopes that both his male and female customers will log on to www.asianamag.com to vote.
Zak is the only man from the North East in the final 50 and if he makes it to the final 10 he will attend a champagne-packed party in London to impress the judges one last time.
Speaking to the mercury, Zak said: "There's a few hot guys in the competition so I'd love it if anyone who knows me from Teesdale and Barnard Castle would vote for me.
"I'm the only one in the competition from the North East it would be good to get through to the next round, I never thought I'd make it this far."
