Meet parade heads through town

IT was a bright and breezy early afternoon that greeted the hundreds of people who turned out to watch the Meet 2008 Grand Procession through Barnard Castle.
The procession was the highlight of three days of activities and entertainment at this year's Meet.
Following the colourful parade, folk made their way to the Demesnes for an action packed afternoon featuring everything from chainsaw carving to dog agility demonstrations.
