BARNARD Castle Library and the LEAP Skills for Life centre are joining forces to mark Adult Learners Week later this month.
Free taster sessions on ‘Using the internet and email' will be offered at the library, in Hall Street, from 2pm to 4.30pm during the week starting Monday, May 19 (except Thursday).
The Monday session will focus on an introduction to the internet and finding information online.
The session on Tuesday will cover sending and receiving emails and the chance to set up a free email account.
On Wednesday, there's a chance to learn about managing emails and sending pictures and documents as attachments.
The Friday session will be an introduction to using a digital camera and scanner, with the chance to bring in pictures to scan.
People are welcome to come to all four sessions or drop in for one or two.
For more information or to book a place, contact the LEAP Skills for Life Centre on 01833 690281 or Barnard Castle Library on 01833 638001.
