Last chance to vote in Durham dales business competition

IT'S the final chance to vote in the Mercury's search for the best community business in the Durham dales.

Six firms – five from Teesdale and one from Wear Valley – a`re in the running for the award, which is being run by the Mercury conjunction with One NorthEast.

Anyone still wishing to take part has until noon tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7, to return voting slip which was printed in the the Mercury of April 30 to our office at 24 Market Place, Barnard Castle.

The businesses in contention for the award are: Rotters; McFarlane's Butchers; Galgate Service Station; Tait and Bowman; Brookes Tailors and Outfitters and Julie's Cafe.

Early indications are that it is an extremely close race for the award.
