ON a glorious, sunny afternoon on Wednesday, children at Woodland School learned all there is to know about birds of prey when Rob Allott from Land of the Prince Bishops Birds of Prey and Falconry came to give them a talk.He brought with him a selection of feathered friends, including Peregrine, Lanner and Gyr falcons; an Iranian Eagle Owl, Harris Hawk and a Barn Owl.
It was Barney the Barn Owl who proved popular with the pupils, including Stacey Wall, 5, who got a chance to handle him.
