A METALLIC green Daihatsu four-track vehicle,



registration number J160VVN, was taken from the drive of a house in Barningham between 10.30pm on Monday and 6.30am yesterday (Tuesday).

“It was unusual because whoever did it moved another vehicle to get to the Daihatsu,” said Sgt David Storey of Barnard Castle Police. “As it is a diesel, it was also likely to have been noisy starting up, so we should like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything.”
