THE Flying Gardener BBC Pebble Mill programme is winging its way to upper Teesdale from July 5,





when the farm and flowering hay meadows at Kath and Maurice Toward’s Herdship Farm, at Harwood-in-Teesdale, will be featured. Presenter Chris Beardshaw will be touring the dale in a helicopter to view the landscape and take inspiration from nature, and the programme editors are looking for other "lively characters who have an interest in gardening but who are not experts" and for keen gardeners who can be visited as well.
