Teesdale School

Dear Sir
I attended the public meeting about a possible Academy for Teesdale, and found it a helpful exchange of views. Of course emotions can run high, because as parents we want the best for our children. But I believe that staff and Governors at Teesdale share that goal, and regardless of what people may feel about Govenrment policy, the school would be failing in its duty if it did not explore the potential benefits, and indeed help shape the agenda. For me, the key goals should be a collaborative approach with feeder primaries and Staindrop, and ongoing dialogue with the community.
