Road repairs

After the recent bad weather, it can be appreciated that the highways authorities have a mammoth job repairing potholes and cracks. But surely priority must be given to the A66 between Crossways and Greta Bridge, particularly the eastbound carriageway?
This is a major trunk road but one that at the moment resembles a country track, and a poorly maintained one at that. It must be causing havoc to tyres and suspensions, but more importantly is extremely dangerous. Even some interim patching would be welcome.
