St. Geroges Day Holiday(probably)

I`ve heard this week that about St. Georges Day. It`s 23rd April, of course but there`s been talk of it being an extra days holiday. People are wanting the day as a holiday. In the St. Gs Day website by today, the poll had 1,046,721 saing yes to a days holiday against 45,813 against a day off work.
Spring already has four days of holiday.
If we had 23 April off work, it could come too near Easter. Mothers day is Usually in March but I recall 1984 and 2000 when Mothers day was 1 April in 1984 and on 2000, on 2 April. These Mothers days outside March resulted in Easter being the same time as SGD. Perhaps 23 April shouldn`t be a hoiday.
