AAPs

Now that the dust has settled and the areas of the AAPs decided, I say areas because there are no boundaries now in County Durham as from April 1st.
The AAP 'Launch Event' is on 22nd April at Teesdale School, Barnard Castle. Here you will be able to find out how you can get involved, ask any questions you have, look at local priorities for your AAP to work on and have the oportunity to have a say on what your AAp is called.
I would suggest that with all the activity around the Gaunless Valley we will have a great many people showing interest, I do hope so.
I hope that the Gaunless Valley is somehow included in the name of the AAP.
As from April 1st DCC hope the change over will be smooth and uncomplicated, much work has been done to to achieve this.
However if you do have a problem contact your local ward representative.
Any one in my ward please contact me on 01388 710592. If I cannot solve your problem I will find someone who can.
This is the start of a new era, we are the only 'County' in England, we are unique.Lets make it something good, we can only do this with everyone's help.
Yours
Cllr. Pauline Charlton
