Bishop Auckland A&E

Terry Robinson
04 Mar 2009
What is the point of having public debate when the people in charge have no intention of listening to public opinion. The closure of Bishop Aucland A&E appears to have a been a forgone conclusion, it is nothing to do with giving patients the best possible care but more to do with money. The NHS was set up not be a profit making organisation but care for the the local populus, now we are not going to have that option. No thought has been given to the "Golden Hour" when patients are most at risk, instead patients will have to travel longer than the one hour just to get to an A&E facility, in which time they could die, the "Trust" has no thought for the people only its own gloryfication.
