Graffiti Outbreak

I was recently sent an article from the Mercury 20th June, in regard to an outbreak of graffiti and tagging in Barnard Castle.
This has been happening in Lewisham and the council have now set up a website www.lovelewisham.org and anyone with a mobile phone with a camera can take a picture of any graffiti or flytipping and send it directly to the council for it to be removed, this seems to help as it means issues are resolved really quickly, would this be helpful?
