It's no Surprise

My husband and I have recently moved into Cotherstone, and on one of our regular walks - this time to Eggleston Hall for lunch - I lost my sun glasses from my pocket. One week later - this time returning from Eggleston Hall (another enjoyable lunch) it was terrific to see that someone had found my glasses and placed them on a wall that we cross along the Teesdale Path. Can I just say thank you to whoever left the sun glasses for me to recover (the landowner/farmer or another walker) and to those others who must have walked past them but left them there for the rightful owner. Although it is no surprise to either of us that this happened - it is still reassuring to know that one of our main reasons for moving to the area (the people) can be relied upon.
