Can your readers help me find any records of my grandfather and his family please? He was John George Donald, born 13.1.1884 to Robert and Margaret Donald, of Startforth. He had 2 younger brothers, Alfred and Robert Donald, born 1886 and 1893 respectively.

I don't know any more about them and their families.

John George married my grandmother Maria Bell in 1913, and he joined the army to fight in France in 1915. Maria died in 1921 leaving 2 small boys, my father Leslie and his brother Reginald, who lived on Rosedale Avenue, Middlesbrough. Maria's widowed sister Annie Marsh raised the boys, and my father Leslie joined the army in WW2. We lost touch with cousins Doreen and Norma who lived in Middlesbrough in early 1950's. Their mother's name was Eva, daughter of Janet Bell, Maria's sister. Any help/contacts would be wonderful.
